Event Details

The Ebola crisis and its aftermath continue to challenge health workers and health systems in West Africa. These webinars will focus on tools and strategies that health workers, as well as the governments and organizations that support them, can use to protect their communities and begin to rebuild health systems.

This webinar discussion will cover the following key concepts:

  • The state of the outbreak and response in West Africa
  • Protection and information needs of children and youth
  • Youth volunteer programs
  • Engaging youth leaders

The webinar will feature short presentations on tools to support the learning and information needs of frontline health workers working with children and young people. There will be facilitated Q&A and discussion for participants to connect, learn from, and share ideas with presenters and with each other.

This is the first of three webinars in the second Training Health Workers for Ebola Series.
