The MAMA partnership delivers vital health messages to new and expectant mothers in developing countries via their mobile phones. On Mother’s Day 2011, former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton launched the program as an innovative public-private partnership between the Johnson & Johnson, USAID, the UN Foundation, the mHealth Alliance, and Baby Center.

TechChange was brought in to create a series of facilitated online courses as part of the launch of the MAMA Global Learning Program. Courses covered a range topics including how to draft MAMA messages, best practices for localizing content, choosing the right technical platform, and were delivered on the TechChange custom online learning platform. We also produced a video at the 2013 mHealth Summit to capture highlights of from the MAMA community and plans for the future.
